Other Ways to Give
The strength and longevity of an independent school like Island Pacific Academy is dependent on the generosity of those in the school and wider community who value the school’s vision to provide an outstanding educational choice for families in West Oahu. From the beginning, IPA has enjoyed wide participation in the Annual Fund and other fundraising initiatives, as well as tremendous volunteer support. The school is grateful to past benefactors. We look forward to their continued support, and invite additional donors to join the noble cause of building and sustaining a school.
Every gift to IPA of any amount is valued and important, both for the financial support it provides and for the confidence in the school it represents. Please consider the many opportunities available to support the school.
Monetary Gifts
Donations may be made to the Annual Fund to support general operating expenses, or restricted to support a specific purpose such as financial aid or the athletics and performing arts programs.
For Military and Federal employees - IPA participates in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)

Gifts-in-Kind
The school welcomes donations of items which would otherwise need to be purchased by the school. The school “Wish List” contains items which have been expressly requested by faculty to support areas of the school program.\\
On occasion, the school may also accept an item which will be sold and thereby benefit the school.
Stocks or Securities
A gift of appreciated stock may offer a two-fold tax saving: providing an income tax deduction on the full market value at the time of the gift, and avoiding capital gains on the increased value of the stock.
Matching Corporate Gifts
Many employers match employee charitable gifts, making this a way to leverage your gift into an even larger contribution to the school. Check with the human resources department of your employer.
Planned Gifts
Donors may consider giving through such means as life insurance, bequests or charitable trusts as a way of benefiting the school and also reducing estate or inheritance taxes. You should consult your financial planner when considering a gift of this kind.
As a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the value of all gifts is fully tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
If you have questions about any of our giving programs, would like to discuss a particular gift idea, or need additional information for an employer or financial planner, please contact:
