What - Maunakula Karate is a general karate class inspired by the oldest karate traditions.
Where - We meet in Room 210 at Island Pacific Academy Secondary School.
When - Class will be held from 4:00 until 5:30 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. More classes may be added as the class expands.
Who - The class is open to IPA staff members and may be expanded to encompass other interested adult or adult-like human beings. Class is instructed by John Kedrowski, a certified instructor in Karate with over twenty years of martial arts experience.
Why - Karate is a great way to develop a stronger spirit, mind, and body. It is a life long practice that encourages creativity, self expression, instinctual motion, and good health.
How - Show up outside of Room 210 with clothes that you can easily move around in. Bring a notebook, a pencil, and a folder. Class dues are $50 a month for adults, $25 dollars for students. A uniform, mouth guard, and groin cup will eventually be required as well.
