Island Pacific Academy is an independent, non-profit, college preparatory, JK-12 school located in Kapolei, the fastest growing region of Oahu. Founded in 2004, IPA is fully accredited by the Hawaii Association of Independent Schools and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
Building on a foundation of core values such as kindness, generosity of spirit and the importance of curiosity and creativity, IPA provides students outstanding academic and extra-curricular experiences which promote intellectual, physical and social growth, preparing young people for the challenges of post-secondary education and life in the 21st century.
IPA nurtures students, tending to individual needs for optimal growth through close relationships between students and adults. IPA graduates, in colleges and universities across the country, manifest the IPA mission to develop in students essential capacities for productive and healthy lives.

Founded in 2004, IPA has built a reputation as a fine independent school where students benefit from an excellent program rooted in our core values of human kindness and generosity of spirit. Our commitment to become an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School builds on a curriculum already reflective of best practices in 21st century teaching and learning.
We believe young people who are encouraged to be inquisitive, knowledgeable thinkers, principled, open-minded and caring, and reflective risk-takers have the capacity to become productive and successful citizens who can change the world. The academic and social environment at IPA develops those qualities in our graduates.
I invite you to explore our web site to learn more about this excellent choice for education in grades JK-12.

Hawaii Community Foundation is Thanked for Making New Website Possible
This new website is the result of a year of planning and design. We are indebted to the Hawaii Community Foundation for its award of a generous Organizational Capacity Building grant which enabled the school to purchase software and hardware and hire the technical expertise to build the site. Our goal with this new site is to broaden our outreach to the wider community and improve communication about Island Pacific Academy for current parents, prospective families, and friends of the school. New features, photos and information will continue to be added frequently; please visit often. If you have comments about this site, please email webmaster@ipahawaii.org.
